Nel periodo natalizio si svolgono numerosi mercatini con decorazioni, statuine di presepi, dolci tipici e oggetti da regalo. Questi mercatini si svolgono in quasi tutti i paesi, ad esempio si terrà un mercatino natalizio ad Alba Adriatica il 9 dicembre dalle 8:00 alle 22:00 in Viale della Vittoria. Ma i più importanti sono quelli abbinati al mercato dell' antiquariato di Teramo e di Ascoli Piceno.

Per quanto riguarda i presepi ricordiamo l' esposizione di presepi, realizzati a mano e disposti negli angoli più caratteristici del borgo medioevale di Civitella del Tronto.

La rievocazione parte da Piazza del Popolo e , attraverso il centro storico, giunge fino a Piazza La Marmora, e ripercorre la vita di Gesù Bambino, dalla nascita fino a 12 anni. Alla rappresentazione partecipano 280 figuranti, in vari ruoli e in 18 sane.

Un altro presepe vivente si svolge a Colonnella, dove il 6 Gennaio si avrà la 29° edizione di questa rievocazione storica. Le vie e le piazze medioevali di questo antico borgo, illuminate da torce, e i sottofondi musicali, renderanno particolarmente suggestiva la rappresentazione.
