The folders contain the feeds by topic. Ignore the names, if I started to sort my feeds into folders by subject and means that the day was very very bored. Next to the names there are numbers in bold, indicating how many unread items there are in each folder.
A simple glance reveals what are the priorities of my reading. I read constantly personal blogs, I read constantly about the same news on video games and then to follow waste time with sites that make me laugh, followed by news about Ubuntu, and then remain virtually intact the real news, information as well as it is generally understood.

Poiché a me non interessa vedere confermata la mia visione del mondo, ma avere informazioni abbastanza dettagliate per potermi muovere, ho smesso di leggere la stampa tradizionale. Ho smesso di girare con 15 quotidiani internazionali sotto il mouse e indovinate? Non è cambiato niente né della mia visione del mondo né della mia capacità di affrontarlo.

Per usare Ubuntu ho bisogno di consigli e informazioni su come farlo funzionare a dovere, le trovo in quei siti e posso vedere i risultati in pratica. Mi piacciono i videogiochi, che però costano: vado nei siti dove trovo le informazioni giuste per scegliere un videogioco e non buttare via i soldi.
E perché leggere i blog? Con blog intendo quelli personali, amatoriali, non siti commerciali che hanno la forma esteriore del blog. Li trovo altamente informativi perché si pongono all'opposto dei quotidiani, sono esplicitamente soggettivi e si interessano di realtà vicine a chi scrive. Offrono uno spaccato di una realtà così come viene vista dall'autore, mi fanno conoscere libri che val la pena di leggere e film da guardare la sera.
E dove sta lo scambio? Per i quotidiani è il denaro, ma per gli others?
